AWR is a family-run skip hire business based in Tameside. We run our own trucks and skips, our drivers answer when you call, and the price you see is the price you pay.
Skip hire for builders
& everyone else
Most of our work is with trades - builders, roofers, kitchen and bathroom fitters - but a big chunk of our bookings come from home clear-outs, garden tidy-ups, loft and garage reclaims, and house moves.
Our standard range runs from 2 yard up to 16 yard, with enclosed and roll-on roll-off available on request. We run daily routes across Tameside, Stockport, Oldham and the east-Manchester postcodes, with same-day delivery as standard for orders placed before midday.
Flat prices,
nothing added later
Every price on this site includes VAT, delivery, collection and licensed disposal. If the skip needs a road permit, we arrange it with Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council for a fixed £45 - you don't have to chase the council yourself. If a skip gets overfilled we'll ask you to take the excess off before we can move it, but we don't add hidden charges.
Over 90% recycled
Every skip comes back to a licensed transfer station where the load is sorted. Rubble, timber, metal and cardboard are separated and sold on for re-use. The residual fraction goes to energy-from-waste - nothing from our skips goes to landfill if we can avoid it.

We're a registered Environment Agency waste carrier (licence CBDU000000), fully insured for commercial and domestic work. If you need our waste-carrier certificate for a compliance file, just ask.
